Review

It's difficult to know what to make of this slice of hatstand-mad dancefloor craziness from experienced rave revivalist Brodinski. It has all sorts of weird and wonderful elements - relentless beats and builds, twisted vocals, rave stabs, bowel-bothering bass and even a bizarre but effective slo-mo section at the end - that by rights shouldn't work together. They do, of course, making "Gimme Back The Night" a genuinely eccentric and one-of-a-kind chunk of dancefloor nuttiness. Choose between the extra-bonkers original and the longer Club Version, which stretches out each of the elements and, as a result, has a slightly less skittish feel.
