Italian-born but now based in Melbourne, Australia, Brother Julian has a release CV stretching back over a decade, not to mention a neat sideline in production tutorials on his YouTube channel. The man knows his way around a studio, which explains why he's able to turn his hand to a range of musical styles - as evidenced by this latest EP, which opens with summery disco-house near-instrumental 'Feel The Funk', shifts into vintage-style piano house on 'I Want You Baby', moves closer to nu-disco with 'Party At Section 8' and then, finally, floors us with the energetic, garage-tinged 'Energia Del Sol'.
