Ritual Poison co-founder BufoBufo enjoyed a successful 2020, delivering well-regarded EPs on Further Electronix, Partout and Kouncil Cuts. Here he carries that fine form into a new year via a first outing on Fina's peak-time focussed sub-label, Fina White. Title track 'Endless Rhythm' is particularly potent, with the British producer sneakily adding psy-trance style acid motifs, foreboding rave stabs, wavy female vocal snippets and chiming melodies to a non-stop, techno-tempo beat. You'll find more classic TB-303 action on the Larry Heard-goes-to-Detroit flex of 'Lily Pad', while 'It's Changing' is packed to the rafters with alien chords, pitched-down Inner City riffs and booming bass. As for 'Night Vision', it's a pleasingly boisterous breakbeat roller rich in retro-futurist bass and intergalactic electronic motifs.Get new release alerts
