Review

Bwana is a young Canadian currently residing in Leeds. It's evident from the two bass-influenced tracks contained here that this producer has clearly absorbed the sound of the UK into his system; "Baby Let Me Finish" is a venture in to deep tropical territory with building percussive beats built around a multi-pitched R&B vocal sample. "Nami Swan" goes deeper again: interweaving clap-heavy beats with a dreamy organ and swirling pads. Black Orange Juice add a whole new vocal for their electro-soul tinged remix of the title track, while The 14th provides a killer retro-house mix recalling the good old days of Nightcrawlers.
