It's always good to see a proper, old school dubstep EP land in the store and that is precisely what we have here as we examine this tidy new three track link up between Causa and New Moon Recordings. For starters, we find ourselves wobbling into 'Ampire', a delicious combination of wonky LFO structures and distant, unpredictable drum arrangements, before the popping melodic plucks and lethal subby underbellies of 'Monkey Jam' waddle into view. Finally, 'Cruel Record' unleashes a monstrous bassy creation as goliath synths team up with regal brass flutters and a potent sub-structure below to round this one off in style.
