Oh wow we didn't see this one coming! Some five years after a strictly limited Bunker Records 12 inch, acid disco icon Legowelt revives his Chicago Shags partnership with Orgue Electronique for five tracks of superlative Italo-tinged retro acid. The title track is an escapade through soaring sci fi synths underpinned by crisp Roland drum patterns. Acid lines bubble away atop optimistic synth stabs on "West Park" whilst "Live By the Sword" sees Chicago Shags draw a post apocalyptic acid soundscape which will thrill and fright in equal measures. The heavily arpeggiated robot disco of "Judgement Day" competes with the cascading machine fuzz of "Casio RZ1" for top spot..Get new release alerts
