Best known as part of the uproarious live electronic act Chrome Hoof, Milo Smee is heralding the start of a new pseudonym, a new label and new musical direction with this release. Born out of a period of time he spent alone with a 303 and an 808, as you might expect the vibe is raw and acidic. "Corrosion Control" gets some incredibly nasty sounds out of one looping phrase in true strung-out, slowly tweaking form over a bleakly treated house rhythm. "Advanced Fuel" meanwhile snaps on a crisp electro beat, while the 303 still leads the way in the synth department. Nothing short of brilliant.
