Who better to rep for I'm A Cliche than label head honcho Cosmo Vitelli who serves up more EBM derived indie dance, as usual, on this self titled EP. Wasting no time getting started with "Suddenly On Acid" where some adrenalised and razor sharp arpeggios grind up against your ears assisted by spangling Fairlight presets. There's also the dark Italo-disco thriller "The Cemetery Of Unsigned House Tracks" (hilarious!) which we found equally impressive until this fine EP finishes up with the deep vintage coldwave vibes of "El Si SenIor (Soundtrack version)". This one finishes things on a melancholic yet bittersweet note. Following up great EPs of late by Jakarta's Jonathan Kusuma and Tel Aviv's Red Axes, this label truly is on fire at the moment.
