Not to be confused with the Irish hardware mangler The Cyclist, Toronto producer Mark Penner continues his mutant disco adventures as Cyclist with a fine release for the emergent Mani/Pedi label. Lead track "Incoming Instructions" is the most derange five minutes of disco we have heard this week with echoes of vintage In Flagranti throughout and a killer shift in tone midway through. Following this, "Meta" feels like Penner is playing it a bit straighter down the path to cosmic jam enlightenment and the B side houses remixes from Brioski and Alexander Robotnick. Of the two it's Brioski that really impresses with a narcotic rework that feels like it's been chewing on sugar cane for days.
What is Album Only?
Some artists and labels prefer certain tracks to be purchased as part of an entire release. These tracks cannot be purchased individually but are available to download as part of the release
