The precise identity of D.S.D. is a mystery: there's a young Irish producer who's been working under that name for a couple of years, but Paper Disco are billing this as a debut release, so who can say? Either way, here he/she/they comes to the Mancunian label with a four-tracker to suit those whose tastes veer towards the slightly more leftfield side of the contemporary disco scene. 'Keep On Moving' is drifty and unhurried, 'Beast From The East' is more urgent and throbbing, 'Suntime' leans towards the cosmic end of things with Middle Eastern flourishes and 'Broken Song' is bass-y and stuttery. Tasty stuff (ho ho ho).
