Berliners will no doubt have heard the name Daniela La Luz. A producer and live act that performs regularly on the local circuit in all the top clubs who now presents us with her second album since 2013's Based On Electricity. Counting Days sees La Luz explore a variety of moods and grooves on this wonderful long player that incorporates her lovely vocals supporting her slick programming and killer beats. Starting out with the deep and low slung acid of "Dare To Change" or the pop inflected dub techno (yes, believe it!) of "Tomorrow Won", there is also sunny and feelgood classic house on "Keep Rolling" (her collaboration with Yannick Robyns) and the stripped and jacking "Slow Down" where her vocals get even more powerful and emotive.
