Meet blondewearingblack, the vocalist who supposedly came into house music by accident - 'via the unorthodox apprenticeship of DJ driver' in The White Isle. Ibiza will do that to a person, apparently. Having cut her teeth on Greg Pidcock's "Disengage" (Get Physical) and Mr G's "Precious Cargo" on Defected last year, blondewearingblack presents her finest performance to date on the deep, moody and downright slinky tech house cut "Let's Go" produced by Danism & Train. Danism are a duo from Cambridge who have released on Food Music, Noir, Nervous and SoSure Music. Train is a newcomer that had a had a release on Nurvous thus far. They're moving up in the world: if this release for NYC powerhouse Strictly Rhythm is anything to by! There are some killer remixes too: the legendary David Morales delivers some evocative dancefloor drama that reaches near tribal moments on his Red Zone Mix, while Swiss DJ Le Roi delivers a pressure-fuelled electro house dub rendition that is perfect to make the transition into the peak time.
