Review
Dexorcist is best known for releasing floor-slaying electro, but on this release for Jerome Hill's label, he ventures down a different path. While the same underlying funk is still audible on this four-tracker, the approach is different: "Mercury", with its 'dark side' vocal sample and speaker-levelling sub-bass is like a somewhat tongue-in-cheek take on Suburban Knight, while on "Kindred Spirit" Dexorcist goes deeper to conjure up subsonic bleeps with dramatic string stabs. Electro influences are audible on "Luna Saturni", where a growling bass underpins a jacking rhythm, while the title track is the release highlight, thanks to its Kraftwerk samples and cheeky rave sirens.Get new release alerts
