Javi Frias's Madrid-based house and disco label Night Shift bring us a re-edits EP from San Diego's Alberto de Santiago, AKA Never Dull - and it has to be said he's dug admirably deep for inspiration, because we can only identify the source material for two of the four tracks on offer. The vocoder-sporting 'Whatever U Want' draws on Lace's 'Can't Play Around', a Paradise Garage staple from 1982, while 'Give A Little' is a rework of Peaches & Herb's 1980 roller disco anthem 'Funtime'.
