Baltimore-based Discuji made his Unknown Season label debut, building on admired outings for the likes of Nervous and Sub_urban Records, late last year. Here, the title track from that EP gets the remix treatment. Long serving NYC producer DJ Romain steps up first, delivering vocal and instrumental takes built around tough, swinging and sweat-soaked house beats, crunchy Clavinet lines, trippy electronics and subtle acid lines. Satoshi Tuomi opts for a breezier, lighter tone on his warming, colourful and organ-rich deep house take - check the tech-tinged counter melodies that wrap themselves around the main groove as the track progresses - while M-Scape and Yoshi Horino's 'Inspiration' take sits somewhere between warming organic house and saucer-eyed nu-disco.
