Label boss Distract steps up to the plate for this four track EP from Bristol based imprint Signal Jam. As a soundscape 'Nasty' sounds very open, but in-between the spaces and the bouncing back bone, there's a whole lot of distortion and some pretty naughty words. 'Maniac' dancefloor orientated, with lots of high pitched patterns which perfectly mirror the subdued low end. 'Consequences' is our favourite track of the EP, full of gutter scraping-ly dirty energy, the track sounds like an all out assault on your senses, the melody is so violent it almost forces you to throw your head back and forth to the beat. 'Party Don't Stop' has a euro pop, video game vibe making it a little bit cheesy but a whole lot of fun.Get new release alerts
