Palov & Panama Cardoon launched Greek label Carnibal in 2012 and have been successfully 'shuffling the traditional sounds with the modern beats' ever since. Here on their 10th release they shift focus from the electro-swing and hip-hop approach of previous transmissions, concentrating on the sounds of Latin America instead. It's a tropical and topical romp too, with highlights including the hypnotic vintage cumbia haze of DJ Inko's "La Cadencia", the fizzing electro reggaeton of Vida G's "Cumbida" and the skewed disco-funk of "Orere" by Umoja.
