Review
Don't be fooled by his name: Komatose is alive, kicking and full of beans. This very generous EP is proof. 'Cyclic', the title track, instantly sets the pace with a dark, energetic sense of cosmic funk. It's backed by plenty more heat as he runs through the full range: 'Tidal' takes us even deeper into space with its full-charge sci-fi reeces and electro elements, 'Back To' is a big beefy number with steamroller bass licks while 'Aura' shows off his tense-but-soulful side. Wrapping up the EP, 'Mind Of A Madman' sees him linking up with Mouthy for a gnarlier showdown that's also remixed to great effect by R3IDY. Long may the cycles continue...Get new release alerts
