Second time around for the collaborative debut single from Doorly and Colour Castle's Misingo project, whose tracks all start out as live studio jam sessions. As you'd expect given the writing and recording methods involved, "Jasper's Keys" is a paragon of positivity, with Doorly and Colour Castle peppering a cheery, retro-futurist house groove with jaunty piano riffs, undulating bass and happy-go-lucky synth solos. Doorly provides a chunky "Club Dub" that rightly focuses a little more on the killer bassline while adding a little more late night sweatiness, while the surging "Piano-pella" is a riff-tastic DJ tool for those who like to get busy in the mix. Best of all though is the low slung, bass-heavy bounce James Martson's sleazy rub of "Knights of St Kilda".
