One of the most interesting artists to have emerged in the post-dungeon era of deep dubstep, Drew's Theory continues to fuse jazz and soul elements into his halftime escapades. "Sample Collection" counterbalances groaning bass with sprightly keys, "Hallucinations" see-saws between dark and light as the sample and low-end mirror each other's moves while the winningly titled "Screw Face Bar & Lounge" is another lesson in balance as porno horns wheeze and sleaze over a spirit conjuring bassline in a way that shouldn't work but really does. Finally we hit the EP title track; "Ghost In The Stereo" is the most straight-up piece of dancefloor-focussed deep dubstep thanks to its immersive bass and ricochet snares. Proof Drew's Theory can kill it club-wise just as well as he can musically, this is one of his best EPs to date.
