Hot Cakes Bass launch their 2018 agenda with an unsurprisingly devilish pack of neuro-funk, coming from Dryman, Denior and Scruffizer, the latter of whom drops some absolutely greezy vocals on us through "Some More", a classic UK hybrid crossing garage, dubstep and bassline house. Remix duties are plentiful, coming from the one like Lucent, who deploys a killer slew of dub science, a more wobble-friendly version from Killjoy, and Jay Robsinson's hyped-up house-techno infusion.
