Whenever we see that Frenk Dublin has once again touched down on Moonshine Recordings, we grab a pair of dark sunglasses and make ready to zone out, with this next batch of four being quite the drift-inducing bunch. We begin with 'Dub Swinger', a fantastic look into dubwise atmospherics and slower-paced rhythms, focussing heavily on dubbed out chord stabs and sweeping bass textures below. From here, the marching drum bounces and squarewave synth leads of 'This Is The Way' combine with a crunchy saxophone lead for another trippy journey, before 'Perpetrator' gives us a much more traditional dub-influenced arrangement, again completed with spacey muted trumpets for good measure. We then round off with 'Send & Return', a bulbous bouncing masterclass in future-dub arrangement, putting the finishing touches on another corking Moonshine link up.
