It really is hard to find words that hold Encrypted Audio is as high enough of a position of praise as we feel they deserve of late. Their catalogue just keeps getting better, with this latest four track delight being yet another bag of bombshells. We begin firstly with a dive into 'Untitled', a weird yet wonderful warbling behemoth of a stepper alongside 'Grawinke; before 'Manufacturing Defect' links together sweeping synthetic clumps and super groovy rhythmic arrangements. The party takes a much more experimental tone next as the epic arpeggiator drills and Edwardian string samples of 'Warning' alongside Scooped leap into action, closely followed by a killer closer in 'Sourdough', a closer that sees both DubApe and Xakra display their love for the darker side of steppers music. Excellent work.
