Dubtechnicians provide some sweet, rolling vibes in these two highly charged releases on their own label Dubliminal. It's wordplay a-plenty here so you can be sure it's the music that does the talking. Title track "Masturbating Sweet" is all deftly placed snares, twinkling melodies and shuddering bass stabs with a swaggering beat and laden atmosphere. The accompanying piece "Morning Sofa Chat" builds from a stripped back intro, with grating synths into a weighty main part with metallic SFX and glitchy beats. An all round success for the Dubtechnicians here - salute!
