Next up on Patrick Topping's Trick label is the debut of Edible main man Eats Everything, who serves up a tribute to a short lived but golden era on the Return To Hardbag EP, featuring New York City-based performer Frankco Harris on vocals. 'Hardbag' itself was a genre of dance music that evolved out of the early 1990s in the UK house music scene. The arrangement on "Bobby & Ken" complete with a hammering donk bassline with speed garage rhythms is the perfect accompaniment to Harris' eccentric vocal delivery, which takes on even more attitude on the next track (the ballroom influenced "Coming For You") and ending with the powerful stomp of "Wallop" (Better Than The Rest) that's perfect for those heads down moments.
