If you're going to launch a new label with a debut release from a brand new artist, it always pays to make it a good 'un. It's pleasing to report, then, that this particular label and artist debut is quietly impressive. If Black Dots In An Ocean Of White is anything to go by, Echelon Plan are clearly students of the deeper end of deep house (if that makes sense). As a result, there's a Pacific-deep beauty to cuts like "Pulsations" and "Reunions", whilst "Live Forever" throws in some Germanic shuffle and weary vocal samples amongst the pulsing riffs. For the more techno-inclined, there's also a delightfully minimal remix of "Renunions" from Delta Funktionen.Get new release alerts
