They say an artist's muse can be refreshed following the release of a retrospective collection. Afternoons In Stereo (aka Greg Vickers) has been silent since the release of Retrospective in 2015, but now he returns with new long player, Echo Valley. Listening to these 13 tracks it's clear to see that he's found a new freshness to his sound. Highlights include the sombre, wafting lament "Eames In Dub", the wah-wah laden "Redondo Beach" that gets its 70s strut on and the wistful, breezy Balearica of "King Of The Iron Coast".
