A British trio who have found greater fame in the US - as DJs and with releases on Toolroom Knights amongst others - return with new album Electric Love. Expertly marrying indie songwriting and structures with an awareness of tech and mainroom house styles serves DV well - check out the floor-filling "Pressure" for example, or the funky, Friendly Fires-esque swagger of title tune "Electric Love". However it's the sheer variety that really helps keep this album spicy. Some of the best moments arise from taking a step to the side, for instance the Balearic bliss of "Emma" which might just be our favourite of the bunch.
