The immense US D&B / dubstep phenomenon Evol Intent return with this new release "Hollow Earth" on their own imprint. The title track is as terrific and violent as you would expect; a growling vocal sample and promise of trouble kicks things off, with pumping drums, grizzled bass and gnarly subs adding pressure from below. "Da Choppa" pairs syncopated, glitchy rhythms and mounting pressure with chopped up breaks, power bass and a frenzied cacophony of sounds.
