Review
Disque Discos are one of those imprints who are never fearful of evolution and development when it comes to music genres. They have dabbled in minimal, tech, disco, and are now testing out the cold-waves! They come through with debutant Fabio Me Llaman Soltero, who exists only under these four tunes - the rest is all a bit of a mystery at this point. "Vicio" kicks off with a hard-edged EBM driller, surrounded by beautiful melodic soundscapes, and "Locion De Piel" follows with an even more hypnotic slew of synth sounds, verging on the acidic. "Comando", on the other hand, knows it identity all too well, and launches a nasty 303 attack backed by a delightfully penetrative groove made up of broken kicks; "Tos" evolves the sound into something more reminiscent of that 80s neo-romantic wave.
