Last Autumn SHANGO offered up "Fairy Of The Lake", a deliciously psychedelic and mind-altering compilation rich in chugging nu-disco and feverish tropical concoctions. This follow-up EP boasts seven fresh reworks of tracks on the set, some of which are arguably even better than their predecessors. We're particularly enjoying Alceo's atmospheric, slow-build mid-tempo deep house revision of Anber's "Ayaz", the sunrise-ready fusion of tech-house, Afro-house and dream house that is the Anatolian Sessions remix of CharliEM's exotic "Torpedo", and the heady, slo-mo musical fever of Ben Eager, RobinG and NIGAN's remix of Elias Fasos and Risk (GR), though others may naturally gravitate towards the hard analogue synth lines, druggy grooves and mind-altering female vocals of Jose Salano's EP-ending tweak of Juliano Gomez.
