For those that don't know, 'The In Crowd' was a 1965 soul cut by Dobie Gray that became a defining Mod scene anthem, before being covered in lounge lizard fashion by Roxy Music in 1974. It's the latter version that's sampled on this epic, surging slab of synthy nu-disco from Paper main main Ben Davis AKA Flash Atkins, albeit only the acid-enhanced Massey Remix actually uses the vocal. The other two rubs come from From Beyond and Soundersons: the former has a weirded-out, Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve kinda feel while the latter slows things down and gives the track a slightly rockier edge.
