Review

Toolroom welcome Format:B to the family! The German tech house duo have been ruling dance floors for over a decade now and most recently had their biggest success story when giants Ministry of Sound snapped up their track "Chunky". This EP sees two slabs of pure tech house hedonism that fans have come to expect from every one of their productions. "The Scoop" is a slamming and funky party starter with its wonky/catchy melody over an adrenalised groove. There is a massive drop on "Super Pit" and is guaranteed to rock the The White Isle. With its rolling Material/Saved styled groove and pitch shifted vocal stabs facing off with mad rave sirens: there's no doubt it was heard a lot this past Summer and we're glad its success will endure well into the latter part of the 2017 and beyond.
