Review
Having previously released material on Mule Musiq and Greta Cottage Workshop, with appearances on Smugglers Inn and Endless Flight in the pipeline, Franklin De Costa is a busy boy. Here he pops up on ReSolute with a crackly EP of off-kilter deep house grooves. It's the tech-house/deep house fusion of title track "Bliss" that most impresses, building the chiming, off-beat melodies and samples around a bowel-bothering synth bassline. Elon's hissing remix of the same track, all thumping bottom end and jazzy cymbals, also impresses. A solid EP is completed by two decent bonus tracks, with the thrillingly dubbed out "Bound Brothers" most impressing.Get new release alerts
