Review
James Alexander Bright collaboration 'Breathe' was undoubtedly one of the highlights of Fred Everything's fantastic recent album, 'Love, Care, Kindness and Hope', so it's no surprise to see it getting the remix treatment. Fred Everything delivers fresh 'extended vox' and 'dub versions', emphasising the killer bassline, bouncy beats and picturesque vocals, before Rocco Rodamaal delivers a quintet of reworks of his own. His main 'remix' gives the track a breezier, sunnier and even more melodic vibe, while his dub (and dub instrumental) wrap waves of bubbling synthesiser lines and sultry synth-strings around a shuffling, locked-in groove. To round things off, he also drops a superb mixing took in the shape of the appropriately titled 'Bonus Beat and Synth' take.Get new release alerts
