Having impressed the heads with their 2009 debut on Dissident, the EBM/new beat-flavoured "Show Me The Good Times", Matt Waites and Nadia Ksaiba pop up on Disco Bloodbath. "The Green Man" flips the script slightly, moving further towards the murky worlds of dark Italo, horror disco and Scandolearic synth-wave. It's a bit of builder, working itself into a frenzy of crystalline synthesizer melodies, woozy house piano, chugging analogue bass and crisp drum machine beats. Capracara remixes, adding some urgent shuffle and darting keys to the original's soaring melodies and chunky bass. There's also a rather fine bonus track in the shape of "Dirk Bogarde", a grandiose trip into Scandolearic nu-disco territory.
