Sydney-based Brit Garry Todd won plenty of praise for his 2015 debut album, Nora Lilian. Here he returns to BPitch Control for the first time in nearly 12 months with a fresh batch of Berlin-friendly dancefloor jams. There's much to admire throughout, from the mutant spoken word vocals, locked-in rhythms and undulating electronic motifs of "Mind's Eye (Stripped Mix)", to the spiraling, swirling, up-tempo tech-house trip of "Take Control". Arguably best of all, though, is "Dream For You", a 21st century take on vintage Mr Fingers featuring the Robert Owens style vocals of Posthuman collaborator Josh Caffe.
