We've heard some killer solo work by of half of Genetikal Twins, Joan, but here they they reconvene (along with Salva Stigler) for a blistering two-track joint on Downhill. "Free Day" is a cocktail of urgent, tense rhythms, smooth undulating low-end grooves and jackin' claps and snares. The track also appears as a thick and gloopy tech house roller courtesy of Anek and as a deep and hypnotic leftfield workout by Moises. Lastly another original track, "Trio" takes things deeper still, with gentle scattershot beats and cloudy synth pad work.
