Italy's ever-prolific Vito Lalinga brings us eight contemporary funk jams here. Opener 'Disaster In The World' marries a reggae bassline to fluttering Spanish geetar and sampled, spoken vocal snips, 'Happy Feeling' nods to 70s barrio funk, 'Ice Stuff' brings the Blaxploitation soundtrack vibes with its mournful trumpet and looping bass before getting a more uptempo Leg Warmers Remix from Santoro, 'Uitdaging' will play well in the hip-hop 'n' funk spots, 'Swart Mense' adds a little Afro flava, and so it goes on... there's perhaps no one standout cut that demands instant attention but any/all of 'em should keep funk-friendly floors grooving nicely.
