Portland based ambient/drone heroine Liz Harris returns with her 13th long player, for indie heroes Kranky - her third consecutive release for the imprint. Grid Of Points is a set of songs that follow up 2014's well received Ruins LP. Harris is said to have wrote these songs in less than two weeks in Wyoming, where she had traveled to work on art and music. However, she suddenly stopped after being affected by a high fever. Though brief, she considered the outcome complete. There is a certain intimacy on this album, the lo-fi four track saturated aesthetic that allow the piano and voice led compositions to 'allude to an essence that the songs lyrics speak more directly of.
