Review

Sebastian H?bert aka Hyboid delivers another wonderfully out there album's worth synth and electro tracks. The pulsating groove of "Starcrush" comes across like a new age version of Legowelt, while the title track is a cosmic-sounding piece of electro pop. H?bert clearly spends a lot of his time star-gazing because the album also contains wonderfully cosmic pieces like "Crystal of the Ancients" and the sci-fi sound track of "Future Fever". While some tracks on Strange Signals veer into electronic easy listening, H?bert's slick production and knack of writing memorable melodies - check "Walking the Milky Way" if you're in any doubt - make this a delightfully spaced out journey.
