Sebastian Hubert's Hyboid project continues to deliver high-tech waves of contemporary electro, and there's no stopping him or his insatiable Astro Chicken imprint. "UFOs Over Berlin", a sight all too often seen by the city's residents, starts off with a harsh artillery of beats and a fast, 80s sort of tempo that verges into coldwave; "Torture By Popcorn" sounds like an early 2000's Euro house anthem stripped down to its bare bones, and "Rocket Science" goes for a more sombre, synth-heavy approach for the more introspective listeners out there. The virtual B-side starts with the sinister yet seductive synth harmonics of the glitchy "Ambush At Treptower Park", "A Fistful Of Tribbles" sounds like a boogie reinterpretation of some cold, 90s electro madness, and "Randezvous With An Invader" takes inspiration from the Kraftwerk school of thought, transporting the listener with a quirky selection of synth waves.
