I Hate Models kick starts his new label with a four-tracker that he hopes will inspire either 'intense, soul-wrenching nostalgia' or 'blast open new neural pathways'. No matter what way you look at it, the pulsating, high paced "Two Steps From Heaven" is a killer disco techno cut to sound track a club at the end of the universe. On "Sad Groove", the French producer continues on his mission to provoke mixed emotions, with atmospheric synths and vocal samples layered over pounding bass drums. There's also a surprise in store on "Lazy In Hell", where he takes a leaf from Terrence Fixmer's playbook to drop a brutal, grinding bass, but surprisingly uses it as the backdrop for a series of soulful vocals.
