This four-tracker shows that some new school minimal producers are adept at exploring diverse sounds and styles. The title track is rooted in the tool house sound, its rolling tribal rhythms featuring a sensuous, breathy vocal. By contrast, "Shot Me" is noisier and its distorted beats mean that it comes across like a more visceral take on electro house. "Strange Sight" takes the upfront, banging approach to its logical conclusion and sees Ind FX embrace the kind of rough and raw techno that would make Inigo Kennedy proud. Finally, "Bubble Up" offers a more imaginative approach, as the sound of bubbling water is fused with a howling analogue workout.
