Here we have the second full-length outing from Giannis Mpizas AKA J.B. Boogie, following 2018's 'Funky People', but as he's released about 27,000 EPs in the intervening three years, you should have a pretty good idea what to expect! The Greek producer is more about faithful homages to the sounds of the 70s and 80s than he is about cutting edge sonic experiments, but that's by no means a criticism: the "if it ain't broke" rule often applies when it comes to moving bodies on dancefloors and as such you'll find plenty of solid club ammunition here, whether you're after squelchy, brassy funk ('Fela's', 'Play'), early 80s boogie vibes ('Lovely Day', 'Jam To Boogie') or gloriously camp disco proper ('Run To Me', 'Music On').Get new release alerts
