Review

UK's James Jacob is Jakwob and presents Feel Good for Tiga's Turbo Recordings after a series of recordings for his own Boom Ting imprint. The title track is some raw jacking and melodic house in the vein of Man Without A Clue or Dusky. He then enlists a bit of help from... well, Hilfe, on "Excuse" which is more minimal and tracky; a great DJ tool this one and reminiscent of early Green Velvet. He goes for some dark and booming bass flavour that gives away his UK roots on "Skup" while fellow Turbo alumnus Trace7000 turns in a killer remix of "Feel So Good" which is an adrenalised late night trip if we've ever heard one.
