Following their 2019 collaboration, Jamie Anderson and Robert Owens come together again on Fossil Archive. In its original form, the title track sees Anderson conjure up a deep, rolling techno groove. Underpinned by tough claps and niggling percussion, these elements provide a basis for the house legend's soulful, seductive vocals. It makes for an alluring combination. The release also features a series of remixes, including a peak-time, percussive version from label owner Roberto as RMK. Working under his Fossil Archive guise, Roberto drops a moody electro take and a hypnotic dub version that sees Owens's vocals unfold over tripped out synths and dubbed out claps. Meanwhile, Roberto's main remix as Fossil Archive is a deep, Detroit-style roller that is sure to have maximum impact.Get new release alerts
