Review
One thing that we were certainly thankful for in 2018 was the abundance of high-quality jungle riddims, which were two-a-plenty all year. In 2019 the march looks set to continue and Killa Dubz are making an early contribution with this sheller of an EP from Java, an archetypal collection of broken notes and bassy tones. There's a real sense of musicality in the sampling, exemplified by 'All Girls', but this doesn't overshadow the dancefloor readiness of these tunes and the impact they have. You've only got to listen to the raucous drums on 'Dub Riddim' to hear that. Something for everyone here.Get new release alerts
