Sheik N Beik present Daisy Cutter by Joe Europe aka JEM. This EP is the third release in their series aimed at celebrating the diversity and history of New York and its boroughs. As Sheik N Beik's hometown and source of constant inspiration, the label focuses on spotlighting and paying homage to the five boroughs of New York, including a previous one by Nconduit and one to Manhattan and an ode to Queens by Kathisma. JEM's dedication is to The Bronx. Some dark, deep and atmospheric techno in the vein of Mathew Jonson on the title track, some tunnelling and hypnotic techno in the vein of the Romans on "Neb" and the old-school drum computer jam "Temple" soaked in analogue soul.Get new release alerts
