As the title may have already led you to suspect, the 80s force is strong in this one! 'Jan's Hammer' thankfully isn't yet another 'Axel F' re-edit, but has clearly been pilfered from somewhere in the Czech synth legend's back catalogue... a cut that'll be best served cruising down Ocean Drive with the top pulled down and your Wayfarers on, baaaby! The stylistically similar 'Spooky Funk' is slightly more energetic, and as such conjures visions of the club scene in 80s teen movies - think dog collars, dramatic blue eye shadow, wedge haircuts and sheer mesh sleeveless T-shirts.Get new release alerts
